Net profit
Also called: Net income · Bottom line
What is left of revenue after every cost, including interest and taxes.
Net profit is the bottom line of the income statement. It includes everything operating profit leaves out: interest on debt, gains or losses on investments, one-off items and taxes.
Groups that don't own all of their subsidiaries often report “net profit, group share”: the part that belongs to the parent company's own shareholders.
